November 26, 2025 Visit by Rhineland-Palatinate's Antigypsyism Commissioner

Michael Hartmann, the first Antigypsyism Commissioner in Rhineland-Palatinate, visited the Research Centre on Antigypsyism on November 26, 2025. He was accompanied by Jacques Delfeld, Executive Director of the Association of German Sinti and Roma, Rhineland-Palatinate Regional Association.

Michael Hartmann (SPD) has held this office since July 1, 2025, which was established on the basis of the state treaty between the state of Rhineland-Palatinate and the State Association of German Sinti and Roma on May 28, 2025. The meeting served as an initial opportunity to get to know each other. The guests exchanged ideas with Dr. Frank Reuter, Daniela Gress, Dr. Radmila Mladenova, and Jonathan Mack from the RCA team about opportunities for networking and regional reappraisal of injustices after 1945.
