Knowledge Transfer Publications
The RCA sees itself as an academic platform that brings together diverse perspectives on the historically evolved phenomenon of antigypsyism and communicates them to society. In order to fulfil this aim, the RCA staff carry out a wide range of publication work. This ranges from the publication of an in-house publication series, the publication, supervision and editing of books and other series to the publication of numerous (specialised) articles in academic publications and media serving the purposes of communication, prevention and education.

Publication series ‘“Interdisciplinary Studies in Antigypsyism”’
The publication series was established in 2018 by the open access publisher Heidelberg University Publishing (heiUP). It aims to anchor antigypsyism research more firmly in academic discourse and to encourage further basic research. As a forum for academic communication, “Interdisciplinary Studies in Antigypsyism” is intended to present new research work on the topic of antigypsyism and the results of different disciplines and methods, particularly from the fields of history, literature, cultural studies, political science and media studies. There are both anthologies and monographs. The authors include established researchers and young academics such as doctoral candidates who can publish dissertations supervised at the RCA in the series. Each volume undergoes a double-blind peer review process. The series contains titles and articles in German and English.
