10.7.2025 Ari Joskowicz visits the RCA
During a visit to Germany, Prof. Dr. Ari Joskowicz, who teaches Jewish studies and history at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, visited the Research Centre on Antigypsyism. Ari Joskowicz has been researching the history of relations between Sinti, Roma and Jews for many years. In 2023, Joskowicz published the award-winning book ‘Rain of Ash: Roma, Jews, and the Holocaust,’ in which he examines the decades-long, intertwined struggles of both minority groups for justice. He presented the book on 9 July at the invitation of the Research Centre on Antigypsyism and the Documentation and Cultural Centre of German Sinti and Roma in Heidelberg. During his visit to the RCA, Ari Joskowicz viewed the RCA's collection holdings.
