How do recurring images influence what we think we know about certain communities? And what do these images leave unseen?
In this 90-minute workshop, Andra Drăghiciu uses selected clips and the Shelby family’s “water gypsies” roots to examine Romani representation, narrative tropes and traces of antigypsyism beneath the series’ cinematic surface.
